Stress, Anxiety & Guilt with a Side of Life

I had a break through realization today.

I have this mental pattern that I JUST discovered. I sense it formed in high school, sometime after freshman year when I truly learned about stress. Stress, while among a top to blame for major disease, is addictive.

And yes, now that I have cleared my food addition, I have found another to strip away from my life.

In the energy medicine I practice called BodyTalk, we do a technique called anchoring to the heart or brain for individuation. Essentially what is happening here, is that the heart or brain are energetically being stripped of old, negative patterns that no longer serve you or your existence. WELL, right now, I feel like I, Me, Myself is anchoring to individuation of LIFE. The entire thing.

Every moment I am having a new, reasonably profound realization and waking up to more parts of my being and of being alive...simply because I let go of another addiction which no longer serves me: food. YAY!

So, more about this stress. What I realized today was this. Either, I have too much stress, overload my plate and handle it. But not for long, only a little while until I am totally and completely overwhelmed. THEN, I break down and become exhausted and feel guilty that I'm not working hard enough. Next, I clear my life of a few things and feel total anxiety because I'm not overwhelmed, feeling guilty or stressed.

OKAY. STOP. Something's not right here, can you tell?! Holy deer shit.

Lately especially, this has been such an ebb and flow and balance and let go. I have a lot of energy & feel the passion bubbling up inside me but then fail to recognize how to channel it.  I also realized that everything in my life truly does mirror these behaviors. I'm reading like 12 books right now, none of which I've begun to finish. I start things and go and go and go but never bother to finish or complete...

Tonight, that is the goal, to figure out how to channel it and break this cycle once and for all.  I want to replace it with constant peace, love and harmony with the ability to take action through passion and inspiration. IN-SPIRIT-ACTION.

Love. love. love. LOVE.

P.S. Indulging in raw food and being intimate with it, plus eating a ton of it all the time is working GREAT! I feel full and awesome all day long...with TONS of extra energy. YUMMM!

Sex. Part 1

I don't know about you, but I've heard the word sex before.

I've heard it in derogatory contexts, college contexts & occasionally love contexts. As far as I've been informed, you can fuck, bang, sleep with, bone, have sex with and make love.

I don't subscribe to any of these. Anymore.

I started studying tantra a few weeks ago and it has changed my life. My previous belief system about engaging with another person shattered and was immediately replaced by something so magical, so real that I will never go back...

More in part 2;-)

Raw & Wet Arizona.

Eating raw has heightened my senses a lot. Being in nature after the rain is like a soul massage. It gives my senses an opportunity to connect & be.

love love love love it!

Smoooothie Recipe

This is great.
Seriously.
AND, it's a detoxify-er, if you know what I mean! Our stomachs have been rumbling for an hour now.
(P.S. It's the aloe that does this. If you don't want the detox affects, just have a little aloe...SO good for your bod--ay.)

Ingredients:
Young Coconut Meat and Water
Bananas
Aloe fresh off the leaf (Can find these at Whole Foods)
Cacao Powder
Frozen Strawberries
Raw Honey
Bee Pollen
Maca Powder
Earth Powder (I use Health Force Nutritionals Brand!)

Enjoy in joy!

Love. love. love LOVe.

I'm a Foodie.

Seriously. The only way to put is that I freakin' love food.

I love it so much and I want to eat it ALL THE TIME.

I've been depriving myself of that luxury and therefore eating things that are other than the best ever.  Instead of spending a little extra on the best stuff ever, I will decide to go and grab something from a restaurant which ends up being more expensive in the long run.

Right now, two of my GREAT raw foodie friends are in town and staying at my house. They have provided some amazing new insight to me on eating raw. The main thing being that even if I do own a dehydrator & know how to make kale chips, it's okay to support a company who makes them. Frankly, I am choosing not to make time in my life right now to make ALL my own raw food, so I need to buy some of it pre-made. I feel AMAZING about this realization. It seems so simple, but I had yet to make this part of my conscious awareness. Now that it is, I have given myself the freedom to "have my chocolate cake and eat it too...OR...be crazy busy accomplishing my goals & achieve perfect health."

We had a blast eating today.

We had giant glasses of juice for breakfast. Our juice included cucumber, celery, ginger, basil, kale, cilantro & lemon. YUM!

Then, we indulged in the best food ever at Chakra 4. I ate raw tacos, raw cinnamon & coconut pie & a coconut cream/cacao chocolate. WOAH.

(The other night we ate at True Food and I just learned they have RAW Ice Cream there. It is made with a nut base and the flavor is maple. OH MY. It is seriously the best I've ever eaten and in my non raw day, I had eaten my share of ice cream to know that this stuff is GOOOOD. I subscribe.)

Next, (and back to today) we went to Whole Foods and I loaded up on amazing raw foods. I bought the best things ever for salads, smoothies & snacking...so excited.

WELL THEN...March is about pampering myself with food. It's about re-creating an intimate, loving, sensual, sense-i-all relationship with my every bite. Thinking, "Everything I taste, touch, see, hear and feel is heaven, is golden"  and bringing that into everything I do. Creating a perfect moment, a present moment to live in. After all, if you aren't living here and now, where are you living?

Love. love. LOVE. love....
